About me
I have served as an educator in Texas since 1999, starting my career as a 5th grade teacher in Plainview ISD, I moved to the DFW area and started working in Northwest ISD in 2005, when I began my time with the district as an ELA and social studies teacher at Haslet Elementary School. I later held positions as an intervention teacher and campus instructional teacher at the school before moving to Peterson in 2015 to become a campus administrator.
In my role as Director of Elementary Staffing, I assist in directing district human resource functions including the recruitment, staffing and compensation of elementary school teachers and employees. I have presented at state and national conferences and received my certification in Human Capital Leaders in Education.
In addition to my professional skills, I have a bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University and a master’s degree in education administration from Lamar University, where I also received her principal certification
